An empty yoga studio with mats laid out in neat rows in a candlelit studio

Yoga · breath · rest

Willow Room

A small studio with a slow pace. Come as you are, stay as long as you like.

About the studio

We teach yoga the way we would want to be taught: unhurried, in a warm room, with a teacher who knows your name by the second class. Most of our students have been coming for years, and most of them started by standing at the back wondering if they were doing it right. You are.

Mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets are here for you. Arrive ten minutes early for your first visit so we can say hello and show you where the kettle is.

Slow down. The rest of the day can wait an hour.

Passes

A single class to pay as you go, a class pack to save a little, or an unlimited month if you would rather not count. No need to commit. Short on money? Ask about Energy Exchange: a few hours of help around the studio each month for an unlimited pass, a work-trade we arrange in conversation.

  • Single class

  • 10-class pack

    $220

    10 classes · use within 120 days

Questions

The things people ask before a first visit.

I have never done yoga. Which class should I start with?

Any class with Gentle or Slow in the name. Tell the teacher it is your first time and they will offer you options as you go. Nobody is watching you; everyone is watching their own mat.

What should I bring?

Yourself, in something you can move in. We have mats and props. A water bottle is a good idea for the stronger classes.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel from your bookings up to a few hours before the class and the credit goes straight back on your pass. After that it is used, because the place was held for you.
